  Jacques Bermon Webster I, born on April 30, 1990, also known as Travis Scott (formerly Travi$ Scott), is an American artist and rapper. His stage name is the amalgamation of the name of his loved uncle and the initials of Kid Cudi (whose real identity is Scott Mescudi), Scott signed his debut major-label contract in 2012, with Epic Records. He signed a joint recording contract with Epic Records and T.I. in April 2013.  T.I.'s Grand Hustle imprint. Scott's first album, Owl Pharaoh was self-released on his own in 2013. In 2013 Scott released his debut full-length mixtape called Owl Pharaoh. The mixtape was later immediately followed by Days Before Rodeo. Rodeo (2015) was his first album of studio work. It featured the hit song "Antidote". The album that followed called Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was his first number-one album on the Billboard 200. Scott's second album, Birds in the Trap Sing McKnight (2016) was made in collaboration with Quavo. It was titled Huncho Jack Huncho and included his debut Billboard Hot 100 single, "Sicko Mode" with Drake. Scott's compilation album JackBoys was released by Cactus Jack Records in late 2019. It reached the top of the Billboard 200. Following his hit single "Franchise" featuring Young Thug and M.I.A., Scott was successful in releasing the album compilation JackBoys. Scott was the first rapper to reach the top spot on the Hot 100 with three songs within a mere one year.
