Will Ferrell
gained fame as an actor on the show Saturday Night Live. After the show,
Ferrell appeared in many other big-screen comedies, including 'Elf,’
"Anchorman," and "Talladega Nights. Will Ferrell was born in
Irvine in the year 1967. He started his comedy career as a member the Los
Angeles-based group The Groundlings. The seven-year time as a Saturday Night
Live cast member made him one of the biggest comedians in the world of film. He
became known for off-color hits like Anchorman The Legend of Ron Burgundy
(2004) and Old School (2003). Ferrell co-founded Funny or Die, a popular video
streaming website. Ferrell also had success as an actor voiceover in animated
features such as Megamind (2010). John William Ferrell, born July 16, 1967 in
Irvine, California. Will Ferrell was the eldest son of Righteous Brothers
keyboardist Lee Ferrell and teacher Kay Ferrell. He was, by his own admission
not the typical clown in the class when he was a University High School
student. A quiet and solitary person, Ferrell chose to make his mark on the
field of football and set a school record for most field goals made. Ferrell's
suburban house wasn't the best place for his raunchy and hilarious bursts that
would later mark his career.
